KETTLE® Ad inspires movie makers

Just two weeks in to the new campaign and the KETTLE® ad has already inspired home movie makers to create commercials of their own. Except of course we all know they are not ads,they are much more than that. For someone to go to the trouble of shooting stop-frame footage might be considered the ultimate in respect and homage to a brand. I prefer to think that it reveals a far more relaxed attitude to KETTLE® built on plain and simple enjoyment. Look out for more on this in the weeks ahead.

It's also a reflection of the immediacy and creativity of communication afforded by the internet. I'll be writing more on this shortly - online marketing presents an amazing array of new opportunities for brands that are only now really coming of age (despite the 10 years of hype) but traditional media channels are far from dead. The real winners will be those that ignore the hype and simply bring together the best tools to do the job, whether its direct mail, PR, advertising or online, and use them well together.
