February 2012: Trendiest hotel award
Well, the secret's out. It's official. Tripadvisor users have voted The Salthouse Harbour Hotel one of the trendiest hotels in the UK in the 2012 Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Awards.

The award is all the more special coming from travellers themselves, not to mention that of all the hotel locations listed (London, Edinburgh, Brighton, Leeds, Manchester) Ipswich is probably to be considered the least glamorous. It's a fantastic achievement and rich reward for the fantastic team who have worked so hard to create such a distinctive experience for all those that stay there.
The award comes hot on the heels of investment in a new branding and marketing programme. More and more people are enjoying the luxury of all that The Salthouse has to offer. The investment in both style and substance is paying off. I suspect this is the first of a few more awards to come.
