We recently welcomed two new faces to the team! Ellie is our new Marketing Assistant and Annie is our fabulous intern this summer. Here’s a little bit about them and what brought them to Curzon.

Ellie Slaney:

What you were doing before Curzon?

Before Curzon I was studying at the University of Reading for my degree in Fine Art, I graduated this summer with a 2:1.

Tell us a bit about you outside of work?

I like to spend my time either with friends or being creative – I draw a lot and like to upload my designs onto products to sell, currently I have an online shop on Redbubble!

Why you were drawn to Curzon?

I completed an internship with Curzon last summer and absolutely LOVED my time with them! The people who work here are lovely and what really drew me back to Curzon was the fact that you can tell everyone really cares about the brands they market for. The amount of time and effort put into every client and job no matter how small is really refreshing.

Annie Nash:

What were you doing before Curzon?

I have just finished my second year studying Agricultural Business Management at the University of Reading, I achieved a 2:1 this year and graduate in 2020.

A bit about you outside work?

I love being surrounded by family and friends, cooking for and hosting people is something I have always enjoyed so I am often getting my friends over for a nice meal and a catch up. As I have my dissertation coming up in 3rd year, in my spare time I try to do some research around my topic which is on antibiotic resistance.

Why you were drawn to Curzon?

I have known about Curzon for a few years now, and started to gain a keen interest for marketing at university as I had some modules on marketing and digital marketing. When researching more on what they do at Curzon, I saw many familiar brands which interested me, some of the brands they work for are food and drink based, which is the sector I have a passion for. I had met some of their lovely team before and wanted to be part of what they do here and see ‘behind the scenes’ of marketing for myself. When I heard they offered a summer internship for students, I emailed my cover letter and CV straight away, I am pleased to say I got the place and I am thoroughly enjoying it!
